1. Current passport and previous passport.
2. Two (2) recent size passport photos .
3. Request filled out properly (form IM2A) with black ink and legible letters. The form is the base of the request. If he/she does not answer it correctly, the request process will be delayed .
4. You must demonstrate sufficient economic funding to finance his/her trip and accomadations in the United Kingdom, by presenting the last three months bank statements. If another person is paying, he/she must present a letter of responsibility for the others expenses.
5. Letter of acceptance from the School, Institute or University and Assertion of Registration that verifies that he/she has been admitted to the corresponding course in the United Kingdom, with an estimate of the expenses of the course and accommodation. The minimal hourly intensity is 15 hours a week.
6. Certificate or diploma of academic studies, in original or photocopy.
7. The cost of analysis of the request of the student's visa is $112.200 Colombian pesos; payments in cash the day of the request. This money will not be reimbursed if the visa is not confirmed.
8. If you have the intention of staying at relatives home or friend at the United Kingdom, you must annex a copy of the passport and the visa that allows him/her to reside there, together with the letter of invitation. This letter can be sent by fax to you. (we do not accepted documents sent directly to the fax from the Embassy).
9. The officer of visas can request additional papers or documents and you also can annex any document that he/she considers usefull.
10. Its not required for you to present a plane ticket, a reservation is more than enough.
11. Bear in mind that the majority of the petitioners of student's visa must come personally. If you live outside of Bogota, you can hurry your process with an academic agent or flight agent, but you will probably be ask to come in for an interview.
