Note: (a) Pregnant women with more than 24 weeks must obtain a letter from their doctor confirmimg that there are no existing risk upon traveling and a special pass for future mothers before the arrival. (b) The possession of narcotics bears very severe sentences. The traffic of heroine or morphine is condemned by capital punishment.
PASSPORTS: Valid passport for at least six months from the date of departure from your country.
VISAS: Obligatory only for the following: (a) Citizens of China, CEI, Hong Kong, India, Macao (SAR) and Myanmar; (b) citizens of Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Arab Republic Syria, Tunis, United Arab Emirates (only temporary passport) and Yemen.
Note: 1. The citizens of the rest of countries need a Social Visit Pass , which is obtained at arrival whenever the traveler has a valid passport, sufficient funds to cover the your stay in Singapore, return ticket and documents of entry to other destinations if the trip is continued to other countries. Citizens with British and Irish passports can remain in Singapore a maximum of 30 days; Citizens of other countries only can remain a maximum of 14 days. The visitors at possession of a Social Pass of Visits cannot be employed at Singapore. Extensions can be requested by a maximum period of 90 days.
Types of visas and prices: Simple entry /Social visit (short or long stay: 20SGD), Business visits (11.70USD), Student visits and Transit Visas. For any extension of a visa for three months or more from the date of entry/exit and for every later extension of three months or more, the cost is usually of 40SGD. It is recommended that you pay with NETS or CashCard. The application forms with instructions and updated tariffs can be obtained through the High Commission (see the section of Information about passports and visas).
Validity: In discretion of the Immigration Authority of Singapore (ICA). Request: Consule (or in affect to the consule section of the embassy or the high commission); see Information about passports and visas.

4. Payment of tariff (in cash or postal order only).
5. If the request is realized by mail, one must be included and envelope the necessary stamps so that they may answer you.
6. Letter signed by a sponsor or local associate (obligatory for all except for the citizens of India and China).

Time of procedure: From two to four weeks for nationals of level 2. Four working days for level 1citizens . Nevertheless, it is recommended to start these the steps with sufficient time. The applicant for a Student visas must wait from two to six months.
Temporary residence: Request to the consule (or consule section of the High Commissione or Embassy), who will send the request to the authorities of Singapore.
