Hello Hugo
First than anything I would like to take this chance to thank you once again for the opportunity that you have given me to study in insearch essex. Up to the moment, EVERYTHING is going very well, I arrived well and I have´nt had any problems.
THE UNIVERSITY IS VERY NICE AND BIG, EVERYTHING IS VERY ORGANIZED AND THE PEOPLE ARE VERY KIND. I thought that maybe things were going to be a little different, because the English have a reputation of being very serious; but its nothing like that, everyone is willing to help and always with a smile. I have´nt had any type of problem with my accommodation, I had to buy some things like a pillow and covers, and also some things for the kitchen; but nothing more.
The room where I´m staying is very big and comfortable, I have a desk, a few book shelves, a night table and a hand washer, I have to share the bathroom and the kitchen with other people, but I believe that there´s no problem with that, because everyone seems to be organized.
There´s a very big lake with alot of ducks. also a bank, a supermarket ... the library is very big and it has many books ... we were there yesterday seeing how everything worked.
This week ends the induction week , an hour ago we finished a meeting that all the students had of insearch, they gave us different appetizers, and we met all the teachers. We´re only five students in computer science, until now I´ve only met three: a Russian, a child from Ghana and a Chinese. I don´t know where the other person is from or when he/she plans on showing up. Everything seems very nice, and I really hope that everything gets even better.
Up to the moment I have´nt had any problems with english, sometimes I lack a little more vocabulary to speak; but I understand everything that´s being said to me. The classes seem very interesting, and the teachers are very kind.
Once again thank you, and I´ll keep writing to keep you informed on my academic progress and social life ..., Hugo, please say hello to Rocio for me.
